Human Impact (Unsane, Swans, Cop Shoot Cop) sign to Ipecac for debut album

It was recently revealed that Unsane frontman Chris Spencer left the band and turned his focus towards his new band Human Impact, which also features Jim Coleman (Cop Shoot Cop), Phil Puleo (Cop Shoot Cop, Swans), and Chris Provdica (Swans). They made their live debut at Brooklyn’s Union Pool in August, and now they have revealed that they signed to Ipecac Recordings and will release their debut album on the label in 2020.

Ipecac co-founder Greg Werckman says, “The sum of its parts, indeed! Each member of Human Impact brings a musical pedigree from some of the best noise that the city of New York has ever spawned. We were honored to get the call and asked to provide the platform to help launch this band.”
