Human Impact (Unsane, Swans, etc) reveal first song off debut LP

Human Impact

Unsane is seemingly no more, but frontman Chris Spencer is now staying busy with his new band Human Impact — which also features Jim Coleman (Cop Shoot Cop), Phil Puleo (Cop Shoot Cop, Swans), and Chris Provdica (Swans) — and today they’ve revealed more details about their debut album and released the first single. The self-titled album drops March 13 via Ipecac (pre-order), and the first single is “November.” Spencer and Colemaan co-produced the album, and Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Swans, Unsane, etc) recorded most of it, with additional recording and mixing by Alan Camlet. If you miss Unsane, “November” should do a good job of scratching the itch. It’s cut from the same ’90s post-hardcore/noise rock itch, and it’s a little psychedelic too.
