Ice Choir releasing second LP 'Designs in Rhythm' (stream "Unprepared")

unknown

It’s been four years but Kurt Feldman (Depreciation Guild, Pains of Being Pure at Heart) will be back with his second album as Ice Choir, titled Designs in Rhythm and out September 9 via Shelflife Records. Having helped Kristin Kontrol bring her pop visions to life, as well as being part of the very Prefab Sprout-ish band Roman A Clef among other production work, Feldman has made a name for himself as a master of mid-’80s sounds. That is more than evident on the LP’s first single “Unprepared,” a glistening shard of romo pop, jam-packed with great little details, that could’ve soundtracked a dozen Regan-era movie montages.
