Ice-T‘s rap metal band Body Count are releasing their seventh album Carnivore on March 6 via Century Media, and as the recently-released title track proves, Body Count’s new shit still kinda rips, especially in the midst of the nu metal and rap rock resurgences we’ve been having. If you haven’t heard it yet, listen below.

Body Count also have a handful of shows and festival appearances coming up, including Rocklahoma, Hellfest, and a NYC show on March 15 at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show are on AmEx presale now and the public on-sale starts Friday (2/21) at 10 AM.

Body Count are also hosting a listening party for Carnivore in NYC at Sony Square (25 Madison Ave) on March 3. It starts at 8 PM and fans are encouraged to arrive between 7 and 7:30. The event will also feature a Q&A with Ice-T by SiriusXM Liquid Metal’s Shawn The Butcher, and the Q&A will livestream on Revolver & Inked Magazine’s Facebook pages. RSVP and more info here.

UPDATE (2/21): New single “Bum-Rush” out now.
