Immortal Bird touring, including NYC w/ Mortals (dates)

By Doug Moore

The Chicago black/death metal act Immortal Bird put out a promising debut EP called Akrasia near the end of 2013 — a polyglot effort that draws from a number of different metal disciplines while belonging to none of them. The band will take their show on the road for an Eastern US tour during February and March, including an NYC stop at the Acheron on March 5. They’ll be joined by local notables Mortals, who have an LP of their own due out on Relapse some time this year. No presale yet, but keep an eye out.
