Imperial Teen prep first LP in seven years, touring around MRG30 fest

Imperial Teen, the longrunning San Francisco band led by Faith No More keyboardist Roddy Bottum, are working on their first record since 2012’s Feel the Sound. According to their website, the LP’s called Now We Are Timeless and will be out July 12 via Merge. Stay tuned for more details soon.

Meanwhile, Imperial Teen will be playing shows surrounding their appearance at Merge Records 30th anniversary fest, MRG30, beginning with a show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on July 25. Then after MRG30, they’ll play San Francisco’s Rickshaw Stop on August 3 and Los Angeles’ The Echo on August 3. Tickets to the Brooklyn, San Francisco and L.A. shows are on sale now.
