Irish comedian Dylan Moran announces North America tour dates
Award-winning Irish comedian (plus actor, plus writer, plus filmmaker), and personal favorite of your man Klaus, Dylan Moran is bringing his critically acclaimed show Off The Hook on a tour of North America this fall. The tour will bring Moran to Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, Washington DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Boston, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco and, of course, New York City, where he’ll hit Town Hall on October 19. Tickets for the Town Hall show go on sale Friday, July 22 at noon with a presale starting Tuesday, July 19 at noon (use password CAKE).
Dylan Moran got his start in stand-up comedy in Ireland back in 1992. He rose to prominence rather quickly and is currently one of the most important living comedians in the UK, if not the planet. He’s already got a boatload sold out tours under his belt as well as a whopping 6 highly acclaimed live stand-up DVDs. He has won two (well-deserved) BAFTA TV awards for the groundbreaking series Black Books which he co-created with fellow Irish television comedy legend Graham Linehan and which he starred in as a depressed, bitter, alcoholic, chain-smoking, and misanthropic book shop owner. Matter of fact, Black Books is currently streaming on Netflix and I recommend it more than anything else on Netflix at the moment. Yes, I said anything. Though not his first trip to the USA, this will be my first opportunity to see him and I couldn’t be more excited. Full tour schedule and tour poster are below.
