Arcade Fire's Brooklyn show next week is at the amazing Grand Prospect Hall

Yesterday (7/20), Arcade Fire announced they’d be playing an intimate Brooklyn show on Thursday, July 27 to celebrate the release of their new album Everything Now. We noted that Brooklyn Steel didn’t have a show that night, but Win Butler let folks know that it’s happening at more awesome location: Grand Prospect Hall (you know, “where dreams come true!”).

His brother Will Butler hinted at it on Twitter:

Giuseppina’s Pizza is indeed conveniently close, about three blocks from Grand Prospect Hall:

Grand Prospect Hall, which is where DFA Records held their 12th Anniversary Party, is much more Arcade Fire’s style for special shows, having thrown costume parties for Reflektor at a Bushwick warehouse. This is pretty exciting. You can sign up for the free ticket lottery and for everyone else, you can watch live via Apple Music, and you can also listen via Beats 1 radio at 8:30 PM EDT (5:30 PM Pacific).

Arcade Fire’s 2017 tour hits NYC’s Madison Square Garden in September. If you are unfamiliar with Grand Prospect Hall, watch some of their classic commercials below.
