Jack Antonoff‘s annual Asbury Park festival Shadow of the City returns August 25 to the Stone Pony Summer Stage. As usual, Jack’s band Bleachers headline and the lineup includes a handful of other cool acts. The 2018 edition features Julien Baker, Turnover, Beach Slang, Clams Casino, Forth Wanderers and Ex Reyes. There’s also direct support to Bleachers from Hayley Kiyoko, who used to be a Disney star and used to be in a girl group with Tinashe and is now re-inventing herself as an “alt-pop” singer and also touring with Panic! at the Disco. Tickets for the fest go on sale Friday (5/11) at 10 AM with Live Nation, Music Geeks and venue presales starting Wednesday (5/9) at 10 AM (passwords = PLAYLIST, MUSICGEEKS).

For Julien Baker, this is one of several tour dates she has this year, including a big Prospect Park show on July 25 with Courtney Barnett and Vagabon (tickets).
