Jackie Lynn (Haley Fohr) released debut LP, playing shows; Circuit des Yeux touring with Ryley Walker
Haley Fohr of Circuit des Yeux and other projects recently launched yet another project, Jackie Lynn, a fictional outlaw country alter-ego. Her self-titled debut album is out now on Thrill Jockey, and if you like Circuit des Yeux, you’ll probably like this too. She made the album with Bitchin Bajas’ Cooper Crain, and it’s a dark electronic pop record with a hint of those Country & Western vibes. Jackie Lynn has a couple US shows coming up in August, including NYC on August 14 at Trans-Pecos with PC Worship (who also play Baby’s with Creepoid that month). Tickets for that show are on sale now.
Circuit des Yeux is also opening the Ryley Walker tour, which hits NYC on November 3 at Market Hotel (tickets). All of her dates are listed below.
