James Blake touring, DJing NYC, playing orchestral Hollywood Bowl show & more
James Blake has been in the news lately for coming to the defense of his girlfriend, The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, amidst the controversy surrounding her mental health, and he also has some new touring plans too.
He’ll be playing a very special orchestral show at the Hollywood Bowl on August 22 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic (conducted by Thomas Wilkins), and tickets for that show are on sale now. (It’s part of a series of orchestral shows at Hollywood Bowl that also includes Janelle Monae in July.) Much sooner than that, James will come to Brooklyn to DJ a GHE20GOTH1K party on March 6 at 3 Dollar Bill (260 Meserole) with MikeQ and Venus X. Tickets for that party are on sale now.
James also plays the South American Lollapaloozas, a handful of European dates and festivals, and a big Hyde Park show with Kendrick Lamar and Brittany Howard. All dates are listed below.
