Jamila Woods touring, opening for Common (Apollo included)

Chicago neo-soul singer Jamila Woods‘ LEGACY! LEGACY! remains one of the year’s best albums, and her live show is great too, so it’s exciting that she continues to expand her tour in support of it. She performed the album in full in NYC earlier this year, and she’s now set to open two dates of fellow Chicago artist Common‘s tour, including the Detroit show at the Fillmore on Monday, 10/7 (tickets) and the show at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater on Tuesday, 10/8 (tickets).

After those two shows, Jamila has a handful of other upcoming shows across the globe, including stops in Japan, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, the UK, and more. All dates and tickets here.
