Japanese Breakfast and Eskimeaux playing solo shows together in December

Japanese Breakfast at Music Hall of Williamsburg
Japanese Breakfast at MHOW in July (more by Amanda Hatfield)

Philly’s Japanese Breakfast and Brooklyn’s Eskimeaux are both usually full-band propositions despite being masterminded by Michelle Zauner and Gabrielle Smith, respectively. But on a just-announced tour, the two acts will be performing solo sets for a handful of audiences on the East Coast in December.

That tour hits NYC for a show at Shea Stadium on December 16. Tickets for that go on sale Wednesday (10/19) at 10 AM.

Both of these acts have been busy this year, with Japanese Breakfast releasing a new album and touring with Mitski, while Eskimeaux have released a new EP, toured with Basement and played Riot Fest.

All dates listed, along with recent music from both acts, below.

Japanese Breakfast/Eskimeaux — 2016 Tour Dates
12/14 Washington DC @ Comet Ping Pong
12/15 Philadelphia PA @ First Unitarian Church (Chapel)
12/16 Brooklyn, NY @ Shea Stadium
