Jason Isbell announces new LP ‘Reunions,’ shares “Be Afraid,” touring w/ David Crosby

UPDATE: PRESALE PASSWORD FOR NYC SHOWS HERE.

Jason Isbell Reunions

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit are finally set to release a followup to 2017’s great The Nashville Sound. It’s called Reunions and due May 15 via Southeastern/Thirty Tigers, and first single “Be Afraid” is out now. Isbell made it with frequent collaborator Dave Cobb, and “Be Afraid” is a soaring, anthemic, instantly-satisfying dose of heartland rock that picks up right where The Nashville Sound left off. Listen and check out the tracklist below.

Isbell had already announced a handful of shows including Boston Calling, Mountain Jam, Bonnaroo, Wrigley Field with Chris Stapleton, and more, and now he also added several other tour dates along with the album announcement. Tourmates vary by date and include the legendary David Crosby, Strand of Oaks, Lucinda Williams (who shares a bill with Isbell at Red Rocks), and more.

The run with David Crosby includes NYC shows on June 5 and 6 at The Rooftop at Pier 17. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday (2/14) at 10 AM, but you can get tickets early via a BrooklynVegan presale starting Thursday 2/13 at 10 AM. Check back Thursday morning for the password. All dates are listed below.
