Jason of Kid Dynamite + Will Yip = Former Member (stream their debut LP)

Kid Dynamite and None More Black frontman Jason Shevchuk is leading another new band, Former Member, who released their debut album Old Youth this past Friday (6/22). Former Member is a duo, with Jason on guitars and vocals, and the great punk/indie producer Will Yip (who’s worked with None More Black before) on drums. Yip also engineered and co-mixed the album, and he’s putting out the vinyl release on July 13 via his Memory Music label. Former Member is a bit more indie rock than Kid Dynamite and None More Black, but Jason’s unmistakable sneer has gone mostly unchanged, and longtime fans of Jason’s music should instantly dig this.
