Jawbreaker have returned after 22 years and are playing shows again, including two in San Francisco last weekend (1/13-1/14). Sadly though, sometime between December of 2017 and early January the band’s California storage unit was robbed. As they posted to Facebook, gear including an amplifier, snare drums, and external hard drives containing the band’s digitized masters were stolen. Read Jawbreaker’s full statement with details of the stolen gear below.

Jawbreaker’s three NYC shows at Brooklyn Steel in February are sold out, as are two of their March shows in LA, but tickets are still on sale for the third night, March 10, at Hollywood Palladium. Waxahatchee (who just announced a a tour with Hurray for the Riff Raff and Bedouine) opens the LA shows, while Charly Bliss opens night one in NYC, along with comedians Emily Flake, Clare O’Kane, and Kate Willett for nights one, two, and three, respectively. Nights two and three in NYC also have an unannounced “special guest” opener.

Jawbreaker’s space at Extra Space Storage in Emeryville, California was broken into and robbed sometime between December 7, 2017 and January 10, 2018. We lost a shitload of equipment including a handful of extrernal hard drives (Seagate?) containing our digitized master tapes. NorCal folks: please be on the lookout for these two precious items pictured below: Blake’s early eighties Marshall JCM 800 head (cover torn); and Adam’s 1989 Yamaha snare (brass, 8″ deep). Also lost: mid-70s Ludwig Vistalite snare; 1966 Ludwig maple snare (marine pearl wrap); 1966 Ludwig 13″ rack tom (marine pearl wrap); 1966 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum. I could puke. Also, you can buy a ticket to our Palladium show at Amoeba, Hollywood for a $3 service charge. Get there.
