Jay Som shares video for new song "Baybee"
Jay Som have already shared two very different songs from their anticipated new album (and first for Polyvinyl) Everybody Works, and now a third is here. It’s called “Baybee,” and it’s yet another example of how diverse Jay Som’s musical palette is. This one’s atmospheric dream pop with a funky backbeat and a chorus that could get stuck in your head for days. Check out the Charlotte Hornsby-directed video for the song below (via Stereogum).
The album drops 3/10 via Polyvinyl, and Jay Som also begin a a tour around then. They’ll play SXSW and then hook up with The Courtneys for a run that hits NYC on March 29 at Baby’s All Right (tickets). Updated dates are listed below.
