Jeff Rosenstock signed to Polyvinyl for new LP 'POST-' (stream it)
After having played 2016’s great WORRY. in full at a few Northeast holiday shows, Jeff Rosenstock gave a surprise digital release to its followup, POST-, on New Year’s Day. It’s Jeff’s first album for Polyvinyl, who will give it a physical release on March 23, following two albums on SideOneDummy. (It’s also out on Jeff’s own Quote Unquote Records.) Like WORRY., it was recorded with Jack Shirley (who’s also worked with Deafheaven, Joyce Manor, and others), and Jeff and his band also brought in some guests. “The four of us stood in a room without headphones on and just played the songs live to tape, and after that we had some friends (Dan Potthast, Laura Stevenson, Chris Farren, PUP) fill out some of the sound,” he says.

Jeff has West Coast dates with Lemuria lined up for February, and considering how much he tours, there will likely be more dates TBA to support the new album. Stay tuned.
