Jeff Tweedy made a playlist of songs he mentions in his new memoir (listen)

Jeff Tweedy‘s memoir, Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back), is out next week and is stuffed with stories “about his childhood in Belleville, Illinois; the St. Louis record store, rock clubs, and live-music circuit that sparked his songwriting and performing career,” not to mention his time in Uncle Tupelo, Wilco and beyond. Jeff has made an accompanying playlist for the book that features the songs and artists mentioned in the book. The 59 tracks include songs by his own bands, but also The Replacements, Glen Campbell, The Byrds, Slint, Mac Davis, Adam & the Ants, Bowie, The Clash, Leo Sayer, Ramones, Dinosaur Jr, The Minutemen, The Monkees and more. You can listen to the “Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back)” playlist below.

You can catch Jeff on his book tour, where he’ll have his guitar with him too, which starts with two sold-out shows at Brooklyn’s Murmrr Theatre on Sunday (11/11) and Tuesday (11/13). He’s also got a new solo album, WARM, that’ll be out November 30.
