Jeremy Bolm's (Touche Amore) 10 favorite albums of 2019

Jeremy Bolm had a busy 2019 with both of his bands, Touche Amore and Hesitation Wounds. Touche released the Ross Robinson-produced single “Deflector” and a reworked 10th anniversary edition of their debut LP, and they did lots of touring; and Hesitation Wounds released their sophomore LP Chicanery.

We recently posted 2019 top 10s from Hesitation Wounds members Neeraj Kane (also of The Hope Conspiracy) and Tommy Cantwell (also of Gouge Away), and here’s Jeremy Bolm’s list of his top 10 favorite albums of 2019. You can listen to him discuss it on the 100 Words or Less podcast, and watch him flip through a video of the physical LPs below. Here’s the list:

10. Bad Books – III
09. La Dispute – Panorama
08. Belle & Sebastian – Days of Bagold Summer
07. Angel Olsen – All Mirrors
06. Big Thief – Two Hands
05. The National – I Am Easy To Find
04. The Tallest Man On Earth – I Love You. It’s a Fever Dream.
03. (Sandy) Alex G – House of Sugar
02. Big Thief – UFOF
01. Better Oblivion Community Center – S/T
00. Leonard Cohen – Thanks For The Dance

Speaking of Touche Amore and lists, we included their 2013 album Is Survived By at #83 on our list of the 141 best albums of the 2010s, and we also included that one and two other Touche Amore albums on our punk/emo-specific decade list.

Speaking of Gouge Away (whose great 2018 album Burnt Sugar was also on our punk/emo decade list, and co-produced by Jeremy), they just announced that they’re opening Circa Survive’s Blue Sky Noise 10th anniversary tour this year.
