Jeromes Dream & Loma Prieta announce full summer tour dates

Screamo vets Jeromes Dream are about to start recording their first album in 18 years (with producer Jack Shirley), and they’ve been teasing a summer tour with Loma Prieta. After already announcing two shows at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus (which are now both sold out), the bands have announced the rest of the tour. They’re hitting Hamden, Philly, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, and Chicago.

Jeromes Dream and Loma Prieta are promising special guests at each show, and so far they seem to be lining up mostly local-ish support. The first Brooklyn show is with Lytic (the new band of Saetia guitarist and Off Minor vocalist/guitarist Jamie Behar), who have a new split with Shizune out; and the second Brooklyn show is with Massa Nera and Foxtails. Somerville is with Elizabeth Colour Wheel, Worst Days, and Kindling. Philly is with Solarized. Montreal is with Respire and dianacrawls. Openers in other cities appear to still be TBA.

All dates are listed, with a recent rehearsal video from Jeromes Dream and Loma Prieta’s “Love” music video, below. Tickets for all dates here.

Speaking of reunited screamo bands, pg.99 and Majority Rule are touring together soon (with openers Portrayal of Guilt).
