Jesse Malin & "all star lineup" announce 2018 Joe Strummer & The Clash tribute
D Generation member and longtime NYC punk staple Jesse Malin is once again paying tribute to Joe Strummer and The Clash with Summer StrummerJam, which promises an “All Star Lineup,” and this year it moves to NYC and happens at Bowery Ballroom on August 25 (four days after Strummer would have turned 66). Last year’s was in Asbury Park with Brian Fallon, Craig Finn, Patrick Stickles, Ted Leo, and more, so we can probably count on Jesse following through on his promise of “all star.” Tickets go on sale Friday, March 30 at noon.
