John Andrews: Hitching a lift with Satan

John Andrews & The Yawns have released a video for “Windmill” which is from their new album, Bad Posture, which came out earlier this month via Woodsist. Says John (who plays in Quilt and Woods, too), “I compiled a year’s worth of home videos for this one. It goes through each season of my band mates & I living together in Barrington, New Hampshire. I’m on tour in Europe right now & it’s making me a little homesick watching it.” There’s some low-fi animation on display as as well. The video premieres in this post and you can watch that below.

When John gets back from his tour with Woods, you can catch him and The Yawns opening for Kevin Morby at shows in DC, NYC and Philadelphia. The NYC show is at Bowery Ballroom on May 26 and tickets are still available. All dates are listed below.
