John Andrews & The Yawns releasing ‘Bad Posture’ (streams), playing NYC w/ Cut Worms


You may know John Andrews as the drummer in Quilt or the keyboardist in Woods but he also makes music on his own. John Andrews & The Yawns will release new album Bad Posture on Friday (3/10) via Woodsist. While still in the realm of folky pop/rock, The Yawns (which also features Quilt’s Keven Lareau) don’t really sound like either of Andrews’ other bands. John Andrews & The Yawns just wrapped up a tour with Hand Habits (they were her backing band too) and they’ll play a Bad Posture record release party at NYC’s Berlin on Friday (3/10) with Cut Worms and Lina Tullgren (tickets). Flyer for that show is below. They’ll also be out with Mild High Club for a few dates this summer. All dates are listed below.
