John Maus, Ben LaMar Gay, Patience & more playing "Outline" series @ Knockdown Center (BV presale)

“Outline” is a new event series happening seasonally at Knockdown Center in Queens, combining live music, art installations and performance art. The series will debut with a Winter edition on February 29, doubling as a Leap Year party, and is headlined by John Maus. Also on the bill: Chicago jazz-funk experimentalist Ben LaMar Gay, Vancouver rapper/producer DEBBY FRIDAY, Patience (aka Roxanne Clifford, formerly of Veronica Falls), experimental pop artist Katie Gately (whose new LP, Loom, this is a record release show for), and veteran new age artist Don Slepian. There’s also an art installation from Aya Rodriguez-Izumi. And more TBA.

UPDATE: Gothy synthpop duo Boy Harsher and sound sculpturist Rena Anakwe have been added to the lineup.

Tickets for Outline go on sale Friday, January 10 at noon but you can get tickets early with the BrooklynVegan presale that starts Thursday (1/9) at noon. Check back Thursday morning for the presale password. UPDATE: Presale password HERE. Check out music from all the performers below.
