John Nolan's (Taking Back Sunday) 10 favorite albums of 2018

2018 was another busy year for John Nolan, who released his best solo album yet with Abendigo. The Taking Back Sunday guitarist/vocalist also just played two holiday shows in NJ and a last-minute NYC show with TBS and they’ll head out on a 20th anniversary tour in 2019. Like at the recent NJ/NY shows, they’ll be playing their first three albums in full.

As the year is coming to a close, we asked John what his favorite albums of the year were, and he sent a list that includes fellow indie/emo vets Cursive, newer torch-carriers boygenius and All Get Out, as well as other stuff like Bon Iver/The National offshoot Big Red Machine, Gorillaz, Florence + the Machine, Phoshorescent, and more. Check out his full list below.
