John Prine is in stable condition, his wife says
UPDATE 2: Fiona Prine shares another update on John’s condition after he’s spent eight days in the ICU.
Whew, some good news. According to his wife, John Prine is in stable condition after being admitted to the hospital and in critical condition from the coronavirus, which they both contracted. Fiona wrote via Twitter, “I have recovered from Covid-19. We are humbled by the outpouring of love for me and John and our precious family. He is stabile. Please continue to send your amazing Love and prayers. Sing his songs. Stay home and wash hands. John loves you. I love you.” John and Fiona, we are very glad to hear this and wish you a full recovery.
UPDATE: Fiona followed her previous tweet with a second, writing, “I need to clarify what I mean by “John is stable”. That is not the same as improving. There is no cure for Covid-19. He needs our prayers and love – as do the thousands of others who are critically ill. Stay at home. Wash your hands. We love you.”
A representative for John confirmed to Rolling Stone that he “remains in the ICU and is stable on the respirator.”
We hope Joan Baez sending you good vibes helps.
