Jon Glaser Loves gear season 2

'Jon Glaser Loves Gear' S2 premieres this month; Jon playing stand-up shows, too

Jon Glaser is back with a second season of his gear-loving truTV show Jon Glaser Loves Gear, which will premiere on January 9. If you’ve never seen it, the series at first seems like yet another gadget-porn docu-show where Jon Glaser tests out new fitness/outdoor gear. It kinda is that, Jon’s love of gear is 100% real, but like most of the shows he’s involved in, it quickly spins out into narrative territory, involving behind-the-scenes drama, references to his other shows (Delocated, Neon Joe, etc), international intrigue, lies, betrayal, murder, and plenty of bad puns and portmanteaus. It’s all very silly but also very smart and very Jon Glaser. You can watch the trailer and a longer episode clip from S2 below, but if you want to get caught up you can watch the whole first season for free at truTV.com.

Meanwhile, Jon has other stuff going on, like a few live comedy appearances including one at Brooklyn’s Littlefield on January 13 with Scott Adsit (30 Rock) where he’s trying out material for a live special. Tickets are on sale. Jon is also doing a Jon Glaser Loves Gear live show as part of SF Sketchfest on January 19 that also includes John Hodgman. He’s also got shows in Seattle and Portland after SF Sketchfest. All dates are listed below.
