Jonny Greenwood's Oscar-nominated 'Phantom Thread' score being performed live with the film in NYC & LA

Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread is up for six Academy Awards, including a nomination for Jonny Greenwood‘s score. Folks in New York City and Los Angeles will have a chance to experience the score performed live by Worldless Music Orchestra and principals from London Contemporary Orchestra, to a screening of the film. They’ll also perform works by Brahms, Schubert, Fauré, and Debussy used in the film. It doesn’t sound like Jonny Greenwood will be participating, however.

The NYC performance happens February 24 at BAM, and the L.A. screening is March 2 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. Tickets for the L.A. screening go on sale Friday, January 26 at noon Pacific with a presale starting Thursday (1/25) at noon Pacific. Tickets for the BAM screening go on sale Monday, January 29 at 10 AM.
