Jordan Peele's 'Twilight Zone' revival debuts in April (right after his new movie 'Us')

Jordan Peele fans, you’ve got a lot to watch this spring. Up first is Us, his new thriller and follow-up to 2017’s great Get Out. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) and Winston Duke (Black Panther) as parents of two on a family vacation whose summer home may be a beach house of horrors when they face off against their doppelgangers. Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, The Handmaid’s Tale) and Tim & Eric’s Tim Heidecker also star, and the film’s out March 22. (Before that, Us makes its premiere at SXSW Film Festival.) Just a week later, Jordan Peele’s revival of eerie anthology series The Twilight Zone will make its premiere on streaming network CBS All Access with two episodes on April 1 and then new episodes weekly beginning April 11. He’s executive producer of the series, and he’ll fill the Rod Serling role as host/narrator as well. While there will be completely new stories told, one of the 10 first-season episodes is a remake of original series episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” which starred William Shatner as a panicked airline passenger and was remade for the 1983 The Twilight Zone movie with John Lithgow. This new update has been retitled “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet” and puts Adam Scott in the window seat. Other announced cast members for Season 1 include John Cho, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jessica Williams (2 Dope Queens). Watch the teaser trailer for The Twilight Zone below.
