Julia Jacklin

Julia Jacklin details debut LP, shares "Leadlight," expands tour

Earlier this year, Australia’s Julia Jacklin revealed that she signed to Polyvinyl to release her debut album Don’t Let the Kids Win, and now more details on that album are here. It’s due out October 7, and it features the previously-released single “Pool Party” and the just-released new single “Leadlight,” which you can watch the new video for below. It also features “LA Dream” and “Motherland,” which you may have seen Julia play in recent live sessions. Full tracklist below.

She’s also got a tour coming up, including dates opening for Marlon Williams. That run hits NYC on September 25 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show are still available. Sooner than that though, Julia will play a smaller solo show in NYC at Berlin on August 9.

UPDATE: Due to visa issues Julia’s show at Berlin will now happen on August 26 with Hollis Brown. Tickets for that show are on sale too.
