Julien Baker lists her top 10 albums of 2016, released a holiday song
Julien Baker made one of our favorite albums of last year, and we asked her favorite albums of this year were. She sent a top 10, including Touche Amore (whose new album she sings on), recent tourmate Kevin Devine (who’s now on tour with Pinegrove and hitting NYC tonight, 12/8), slightly less recent tourmate Lucy Dacus, Daughter (whose album Julien reviewed), Mitski, Every Time I Die, and more. Check out her list, which is in no particular order, below.
Julien Baker also recently contributed an original holiday song called “Decorated Lawns” to Punk Talks’ Jingle Yay! compilation, which also features The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, Museum Mouth, Cam Boucher (Sorority Noise, Old Gray), and more. Listen to Julien’s contribution HERE and Cam’s HERE.
She’s also got a few January shows with Ben Gibbard, and she’s playing the Shovels & Rope-curated High Water Festival in April. All dates are listed below.
