It’s been a while since we’ve had new music from Juliette Lewis. She dissolved Juliette and the Licks in 2009 (they reunited in 2015), but the actress/rocker is back, having released “Hello Hero,” a pop track co-written/produced with Florence and The Machine keyboardist Isabella Summers, earlier this year with promise of more on the way sooner than later. Listen to “Hello Hero” below.

Juliette and her new band, which includes Brad Wilk from Rage Against the Machine on drums and Juan Alderete from the Mars Volta as well as her Licks collaborator Todd Morse, will be tour this summer, hitting NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl on August 6. Tickets go on sale Friday (6/24) at 10 AM.
