Justin Timberlake shares new song "Filthy" (prod. Timbaland & Danja)
As promised, Justin Timberlake released the first single from his new album Man of the Woods today. Though the album teaser prompted lots of “listens to Bon Iver once” jokes, the Timbaland and Danja-produced “Filthy” is the kind of futuristic R&B that JT has always done, fueled by a synth bass that’s, uh, pretty filthy. Watch the Mark Romanek-directed video below.
Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja co-wrote the new song with James Fauntleroy and Lawrence Dopson. Man of the Woods is also set to feature The Neptunes, Chris Stapleton, and Alicia Keys. It’s due on February 2, two days before Justin plays the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
UPDATE: The tracklist is out now too. See below.
