Kacey Musgraves covers Buck Owens on Buddy Miller's new album, expands tour, playing FarmBorough (dates, stream)

Veteran songwriter/producer Buddy Miller has a new guest-filled album out called Cayamo Sessions At Sea, which features Kacey Musgraves, Lucinda Williams, Richard Thompson and a handful of others. The Kacey Musgraves collaboration is a cover of Buck Owens’ cover “Love’s Gonna Live Here” that Kacey and Buddy handle beautifully. Check it out below.
We already knew Kacey was touring this year, including NJ’s Starland Ballroom on 2/20 (tickets), and she’s since added a NYC stop. It’s an appearance at the second annual FarmBorough festival, NYC’s first-ever three-day country music festival. It takes place June 17-19 on Randall’s Island.
Like last year, the lineup has mostly bro-country stuff like Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and Brantley Gilbert, older Top 40 guys like Toby Keith and Tim McGraw, and Lonestar, who you vaguely remember for their 1999 hit “Amazed.” You can check out the full lineup here and get tickets here.
