Kali Uchis

Kali Uchis touring behind 'Isolation,' playing Terminal 5

Following appearances on recent albums by Gorillaz, Tyler the Creator, and Miguel, R&B singer Kali Uchis released her debut album, Isolation, this year. It also features Tyler the Creator (on the BadBadNotGood-produced “After the Storm” with Parliament-Funkadelic’s Bootsy Collins) and Gorillaz leader Damon Albarn (on “In my Dreams”), plus Jorja Smith, The Internet’s Steve Lacy, Thundercat, and more. If you haven’t heard it, but you’re into current-day Gorillaz or Little Dragon or other stuff like that, it’s worth checking out.

Kali has been supporting the album on tour all year, having recently played Bonnaroo and Coachella, and she’s got more dates scheduled through the fall.

One happens at NYC’s Terminal 5 on October 12 with opener Gabriel Garzón-Montano. Tickets go on sale Friday (6/22) at 10 AM with various presales starting Thursday (6/21) at 10 AM. UPDATE: 10/12 is sold out, but tickets are on sale now for a second night at Terminal 5, October 13.
