Kamaiyah

Kamaiyah is here, playing 3 NYC shows

Oakland rapper Kamaiyah put out one of the best albums of the year so far with her debut mixtape, A Good Night In The Ghetto. It’s home to certified banger “How Does It Feel,” but really just about every track is the kind of song that’s worth blasting all summer long. On top of that, she’s on YG’s killer “Why You Always Hatin?” (with Drake). She’s quickly looking like she’s gonna be unstoppable.

If you wanna see her live in NYC, you’ll have three chances in the next few days, starting tonight (7/22). Tonight’s show at Baby’s All Right is her NYC debut. It’s one of Pigeons and Planes’ ‘No Ceilings’ shows, and it’s with rising local rapper Jimi Tents, plus Trapo and Khary. Tickets are still available.

The next day, she plays the daytime Warm Up in MoMA PS1‘s outdoor courtyard. Going by the weather forecast, this one’s gonna bring “warm up” to a new level (it’s supposed to be 97° and sunny). The rest of the bill has Branko, Maluca Mala, IMAABS and Endgame. Tickets are still available.

Finally, Kamaiyah plays the absolutely stacked Mass Appeal BBQ in Central Park on Monday (7/25), which is hosted by Nas and also includes Ty Dolla $ign, Danny Brown, AraabMUZIK, Princess Nokia, Fashawn, Wiki (of Ratking), and more. Tickets are still available for that too.

All dates are listed, with streams of A Good Night In The Ghetto and “Why You Always Hatin?,” and the video for “How Does It Feel,” below…
