Karen O playing intimate shows, including 4 nights in NYC, and 3 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O is releasing her first solo album, Crush Songs, on September 9 via Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records, and she’s now announced some intimate shows to celebrate it. She’ll begin with a three-night run at NYC’s McKittrick Hotel (Sept. 9-11) at the Manderley Bar and a fourth NYC show on 9/12 at Le Poisson Rouge. That’s followed by a three-night run in LA, a two-night run in London, and a Berlin show. Tickets for all dates go on sale via Karen’s website on Friday (8/15). The US shows go on sale at noon PST/3 PM EDT. All dates are listed below.

Before the tour, Sofar Sounds will host advance listening parties for Crush Songs in 21 cities on August 27, including NYC. “The events will take place at secret locations in homes and apartments where hosts will play the deluxe edition of Crush Songs–featuring O’s own words and artwork–for private audiences in each city.” Head HERE for a chance to attend.
