Kate Nash

Kate Nash announces tour supporting first album in five years (hear a track)

Kate Nash is back with her first album in five years, Yesterday Was Forever, which is due out on March 30 (pre-order on Kickstarter). The first single is “Drink About You,” an upbeat rocker that starts out with a nod to Hole’s “Celebrity Skin” and has a pretty anthemic chorus. The video was directed by Liz Nistico from Holychild and you can watch it below.

Kate has also announced a tour, including a NYC show on May 2 at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (2/9) at 10 AM with Live Nation and Music Geeks starting Wednesday (2/7) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

Meanwhile, Kate Nash will be back for Season 2 of Netflix’s ’80s-set pro-wrestling dramedy, GLOW, on which she plays Rhonda “Britannica” Richardson. Release date still to be announced, stay tuned.
