KEN mode releasing 'Nerve' EP (stream "The German Businessman")
Post-hardcore/noise rock band KEN mode are following last year’s Steve Albini-recorded Success with the Nerve EP this Thursday (11/10) via Reptilian Records. The EP features three songs from the Success sessions, three demos of songs that ended up on 2013’s Entrench, and “Absolutely Not” which also appeared on their split with The Atlas Moth. We’re premiering “The German Businessman,” one of the Steve Albini-recorded songs, and like most of Success, it sounds straight out of the late ’80s/early ’90s era of noise rock that Albini is most famous for.
