Khruangbin sign to Dead Oceans, prep 2nd LP, share "Maria Tambien"

Texas trio Khruangbin have announced their second album Con Todo El Mundo, which will be their first for Dead Oceans. (Their debut LP was out in 2015.) It’s out January 26 (preorder) and the title is a tribute to bassist Laura Lee’s Mexican-American grandfather. “My grandpa would always ask me ‘Cómo me quieres?’ (how much do you love me?),” she says. “He’d only ever accept one response: ‘Con todo el mundo’ (with all the world). He created his own world to live in. Khruangbin is the world we’ve created.” The first single is “Maria Tambien” and the video tells the story of Iranian women prior to the revolution of 1979 and featuring are artists, singers, dancers and songwriters who have been either exiled or silenced since the revolution since.
