King Diamond cancels slot at Mexico festival due to surgery recovery
Heavy metal legend King Diamond was supposed to perform at this weekend’s Hell and Heaven Fest in Mexico, but he cancelled due to complications from a recent surgery. He writes:

He doesn’t say it but by “additional risks,” one might speculate that he means the coronavirus fears that are cancelling concerts and other large events left and right. Either way, we hope he stays healthy and recovers soon!
The King’s only other upcoming show at the moment is Brazil’s Espaco Das Americas in May, but his classic band Mercyful Fate are also back for their first shows in over 20 years, including Psycho Las Vegas. Hopefully those are able to go over as planned.
