King Gizzard share "Greenhouse Heat Death" & "The Last Oasis" (LP #5 of 2017?)

At the start of 2017, Australian band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard said they would be attempting the Pollardian feat of releasing five albums this year. We’ve already gotten  Flying Microtonal BananaMurder of the Universe, their collaboration with Mild High Club, Sketches of Brunswick Eastand Polygondwanaland. With just nine days left in 2017, will they make it?

It’s looking that way. They’ve just dropped two new songs: “Greenhouse Heat Death” which has an Olde English folk meets doom-psych vibe, with Stu Mackenzie’s vocals taking on an almost didgeridoo quality; and “The Last Oasis” with an appropriately jazzy, warped exotica feel to it. Those follow two other new songs — the boogie-ish “All is Known” and the dreamy “Beginner’s Luck” — which were shared last week. All tour of these new numbers without information with them but money would be on LP#5. We shall see, but you can listen to all of them below.
