Kings Theatre opens courtyard bar, starting with Modest Mouse (win tix)
Kings Theatre has opened an outdoor courtyard bar that will offer pre-show and, in some cases, post-show drinks as well as food stands from local vendors. “We’re excited to be able to consistently offer the space to our ticket holders to meet and hang out before and after the shows,” says King Theatre’s Tyler Bates. “The initial response from the first few events has provided great feedback from vendors and customers alike.” The courtyard will be open through the rest of Kings Theatre’s fall season, starting with Modest Mouse and Tropical Fuck Storm on October 9. The courtyard is open one hour before most events and, at some events, one hour after the show ends. The remainder of King Theatre’s fall season and the courtyard schedule looks like this:

The courtyard will not be open in December when 2 Dope Queens are taping their next HBO specials, but we are giving away tickets.
