There’s an interesting, last-minute addition to Baby’s All Right’s schedule tonight (12/11). There’s an early show featuring a collaborative performance from Kirin J. Callinan (who wrapped up dates with Cut Copy last month), Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ drummer Brian Chase and Splashh singer Sasha Carlson. The night also features DJ sets from Cara Stricker, Petra Collins and Sandy Kim. No advance tickets, 8:30 PM door. This is all before the late show (11 PM doors) with Chicago rapper ShowYouSuck.

Speaking of Splashh, the UK band (not to be confused with Brooklyn’s Splash [one “h”]) were just here for stripped-down shows at Brooklyn Night Bazaar, as part of Kanine Records’ curated weekend (12/6 & 12/7). UK band Splashh released their debut album, Comfort, this year which mixed strong hooks with blown-out production and nasally attitude. If you missed it, you can stream it via Rdio.

Carlson is sticking around NYC for a few more solo shows. He plays Pianos on Friday (12/13) with Bleeding Rainbow, Salt Cathedral, Truest, and Brendan Rivera. Tickets for that show are on sale now and the flyer for it is below. He also plays the Kanine Records holiday party at Glasslands on December 22 with Eternal Summers and Little Big League. Tickets for that show are still available.
