Krill reuniting to open LVL UP's final show (tickets back on sale)

LVL UP are calling it quits after a final tour that concludes with three shows in the band’s hometown of NYC. They’ve also coaxed a band out of retirement to open their very last show, Krill, who broke up in 2015. That show, which happens Friday (9/28) at Bowery Ballroom, is also with Yowler. The show has long been sold out but a few more tickets will be back on sale starting at noon today (9/24). You may wanna act quick.

LVL UP also play two shows at Baby’s All Right on Thursday (9/27): 6:30 PM with Poppies (tickets) and 9:30 PM with Slight (sold out).

Before breaking up, Krill released three albums and a few EPs, including a split with LVL UP, Ovlov, and Radiator Hospital. Their final album was 2015’s A Distant Fist Unclenching, which came out on Exploding In Sound Records and Double Double Whammy (the latter of which is run by LVL UP members).

Yowler (aka Maryn Jones of All Dogs and other projects) is releasing her new album Black Dog In My Path on October 12 via Double Double Whammy. The latest single is “Where Is My Light” which you can hear below. Yowler also has other shows, including a headlining NYC show on November 13 at Park Church Co-Op (tickets).
