Kristin Kontrol (Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls) shares "Show Me" from solo debut, announces June tour dates

Kristen Kontrol (aka Kristin Welchez aka Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls) has just released the second single from her upcoming solo debut X-Communicate. Where the album’s title track is Kylie/Pet Shop Boys-style dancefloor material, “Show Me” has more of a stomping’80s rock/pop vibe (dig those saxes). You can stream it below.

X-Communicate is out May 27 via Sub Pop and shortly after Kristin Kontrol has her first live shows lined up. The East Coast dates kick off at BSP Kingston on June 15 and wrap up at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on June 22. Tickets for BSP Kingston are on sale now and Baby’s go on sale Friday, April 15 at noon.

Kristin will also be DJing the BUST Craftacular which happens at Saturday, April 23 on Factory Floor at Industry City. More info here.
