Kurt Cobain cardigan and Nirvana paper plate setlist sell for big money in auction

A recent rock memorabilia auction had a couple Nirvana-related items, both of which went for a lot of money. A paper pizza plate Kurt Cobain wrote a Nirvana setlist on for the band’s 1990 9:30 Club show in DC fetched $22,400, while the cardigan Cobain wore in a 1994 photoshoot auctioned for $75,000. Cobain’s cardigans are unsurprisingly sought-after items — the one he wore in Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged performance sold for $137,000 back in 2015.

Both items were part of Julien’s Auction’s “Music Icons” auction that happened Saturday (5/18) at NYC’s Hard Rock Cafe that also included items from Prince, Madonna, Kurt Cobain, QUEEN, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Lady Gaga, Greg Lake, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and more (via Rolling Stone).
