Kvelertak have announced that they’ll follow 2013’s great Meir with their third album, Nattesferd, on May 13 via Roadrunner. Kvelertak have always had a knack for pulling influence from major classic rock bands, and first single “1985” has a chugging Van Halen rhythm with some Thin Lizzy-style twin leads. It’s one of the poppiest things they’ve done to date, but still with their harshly screamed vocals. Check it out below.

As previously mentioned, the band is touring with Torche and Wild Throne, including an Invisible Oranges-presented NYC show on April 13 at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show are still available.
