Kyle MacLachlan added to David Lynch's Festival of Disruption & Food52 event

David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption is this weekend at Brooklyn Steel, with film, art, music, conversation and meditation. Agent Cooper himself, Kyle MacLachlan, has been added to the fest, and will be on hand to talk about Blue Velvet with Isabella Rossellini before a screening of the film on Saturday afternoon (5/19). The daytime events and the Saturday night concert with Animal Collective, Flying Lotus and Jon Hopkins are sold out, but you can still get tickets to the Sunday night (5/20) show with Angel Olsen (solo), Au Revoir Simone, Hudson Mohawke (DJ Set), Jim James (solo), Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem (DJ Set), and Rebekah Del Rio.

While in town, MacLachlan will appear at Symphony Space on May 23 as part of an event presented by food website Food52. Kyle will be there with tastings of his Pursued by Bear wines and he’ll be talking with Food52 founders Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs, Also on hand: Joan Allen (Room), Tracee Chimo (Difficult People), Angel Desai (Jessica Jones), and Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street). Tickets are on sale.
